Good News Story: Big Dogs, Small Dogs… LOTS of Dogs at Southport Community Centre

HUGE thanks to everyone who helped at our Dogs Trust microchipping event at Southport Community Centre on Tuesday 2nd February – it was a very cold & windy February day!

We had support on the day from our local PCSO Eve, the local dog warden Chris, park ranger James, Mike from the Dogs Trust, Mad Dog training, Lesley from Tesco, Ali, Emma & Alison (local residents)

A big thank you to The Print Quarter for our fabulous banners and a huge thank you to everyone who liked, shared & promoted the event for us – you really did a brilliant job of getting the word out there!

Thank you very much!

125 dogs were microchipped for free during the four hour session as part of the ‘Bag it and Bin it’ promotion we are highlighting over the coming months.

Local school children were invited to enter a competition to produce a ‘Bag it and Bin it’ poster and the event attendees all got the opportunity to vote for their favourites. The winners will be made into large banners to be displayed around the Devonshire Road Park area.
