Working as part of the May Logan Centre Living Well Sefton team, the Health Trainer will provide practical support to enable and empower the local community to make sustainable lifestyle changes. They will deliver a person centred approach to health and wellbeing working with people to develop personal health plans, signposting to services, building confidence and support and encourage the take up of training, volunteering and job broking services both in The May Logan Centre and the local community.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to the role as is an understanding of the key health promotional messages around diet, activity and smoking.
You will have relevant experience of working in partnership with other organisations and experience of providing ongoing support, motivation and information in a community setting.
To be successful you will be educated to GCSE Level, be IT literate and have a knowledge of behaviour change methods.
You must demonstrate a desire to encourage and support community members to make informed lifestyle choices and demonstrate an ability to keep up to date records and information reporting.
