Job Title: Supported Internships Job Coach, Sefton
Grade: £18,024.00 Pro-rata
Duration: September 2017 – June 2018 (TBC)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – part time to full time
Closing date: 12pm, 4th August 2017
You will support young people with Special Educational Needs or a Learning Difficulty/Disability accessing the Supported Internship Program. The support will take place in the workplace which has been put in place by Southport and Hugh Baird Colleges, and will be tailor-made to the individual’s needs, while maintaining their dignity and self-respect. You will work closely with the employer/employees to maintain the quality of the placement. Wherever possible, the young person will move into paid employment at the end of the programme.
