Children England – Events, training and consultancy services

Date for the diary: September 27th

4in10, our London Child Poverty Network, is currently working on a project which explores child poverty issues and their impact on children’s health and wellbeing. They will publish a research report in early September reviewing the extent to which Health and Wellbeing Boards in London are using their strategies to address the drivers and issues linked to child health inequalities. They’re also running a series of 4in10 best practice seminars around this theme, and recently ran a well attended event called ‘Food for Health: Exploring local food interventions for better child health outcomes.’

On September 27th they are running another of these half day seminars, in central London, with speakers confirmed from Step Change and Toynbee Hall setting out how family debt impacts on child health and wellbeing, demonstrating the best practice from the voluntary sector, and providing practical advice to other organisations.
