Living Well Sefton is a free service available to people in Sefton. As one of the main partners – The May Logan Health Walks are a great opportunity to build some social and physical activity into people’s week and ties in with the Public Health England One You campaign, which encourages regular walking.
The group walks around the local area and have a chat as they go. Then it is back to the centre for a well-earned cuppa and the walks offer a way of increasing people’s wellbeing. They meet every Thursday at The May Logan Centre,10am until 12pm and is free.
Several members have also completed the Walk Leader training. Some do it to learn new skills, others says walking has encouraged them to do more to lose weight and improve their lifestyle.
