Choir Raises £1,800 for Hospital Leukaemia Patients

A choir raised £1,800 from a concert to support people with leukaemia being treated in the Medical Day Unit (MDU) at Southport hospital.

It was presented by former patient Colin Pomfret, a former patient, with his wife Brenda, who are members of the choir.

The community choir, based at Ainsdale Methodist Church, Southport, gave a concert of songs from movies and musicals in July. It was attended by Lynn Sugden and Kate Hughes from the MDU.
