The event is a joint collaboration between Edge Hill University, the University of Liverpool, Hope University, John Moores University, Chester University and NHS Trusts from across Cheshire and Merseyside.
The Empower Programme is also being supported by Anna Kennedy Online, a charity that is passionate about helping society and raising Autism Awareness and acceptance across the globe by making a difference through their dedication to reaching out and supporting communities.
Who should attend?
- Education professionals – especially those in secondary and further education that directly support students on the spectrum
- 16 – 18 year olds with careers aspirations to go to university
- Parents or guardians that would like to speak to someone face to face about university courses and some of the different types of careers in the NHS

The event is open between 10.00am and 1.00pm on Wednesday 12th December at the Learning Exchange Building, City of Liverpool College.
