Easter Sale to Support Sefton Homelessness Charity

Homelessness charity Emmaus Merseyside is holding a 5-day Easter sale and golden egg hunt across their three charity stores.

The ‘Emmaus Easter Sale’ will take place between Wednesday 17th April and Monday 22nd April at the Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore in Seaforth and their two Charity Re-Use Shops in Bootle and Liverpool. The sale will include huge reductions off items including furniture, electrical appliances, clothes, books and vinyl. Furniture at the Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore.JPG

Kevin, one of the people supported at Emmaus Merseyside, said: “We have all worked hard to offer our customers some Easter bargains as well as some Easter fun and wish all our customers past and present a Happy Easter, we look forward to seeing you.”

For the Emmaus Easter Sale, formerly homeless people who are supported by Emmaus Merseyside have hidden golden eggs within each of the charity’s stores. Prizes will be awarded to everyone who discovers one of the golden eggs.

Honora Crisp, Business Manager at Emmaus Merseyside, said: “Following a spring clean we’ve been sorting through some great items and for a short period, we’ll be offering these at reduced prices for our loyal Emmaus Merseyside supporters. We want everyone who visits our charity stores to find some treasure and hopefully our golden Easter egg hunt will keep all ages entertained over the Easter break.”

Emmaus Merseyside supports formerly homeless people by providing them with a stable home and meaningful work for as long as they need it. The charity runs a social enterprise selling donated furniture, clothes, books, bikes, household goods and upcycled products, from three retail outlets.

The Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore in Seaforth and two Charity Re-Use Shops at Household Waste Recycling Centres in Bootle and Liverpool will be open as usual on Good Friday and Saturday, closed Easter Sunday and open on Bank Holiday Monday, 10am-4pm.
