Sefton YA’s & Violence Reduction Partnership; Violent Crime Survey

We want to hear from children and young people (11-18) from Sefton.

Sefton Young Advisors have been commissioned by the Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) to get the view of Young People regarding violent crimes in the area. The VRP is made up of services such as the Police, Fire and Rescue and the Local Government.

Violent crime can be defined as: physically or threatening to physically hurt someone and includes crimes where a weapon is used. (for example a gun or a knife). We are interested in gathering young people’s views on:

– The types of violent crime in the area
– What services are known to be available for victims and offenders
– How to reduce crime in the area
– What would make you feel safer in your area

Their thoughts can impact direct change in their area so we would be very grateful if you could share this survey with any youth groups or individuals to gather their thoughts. This survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
