Counselling and Wellbeing Manager
Permanent position (dependent on future funding)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £27,000 per annum

SWAN Women’s Centre is a registered charity based in Litherland that employs 9 members of staff and has a team of approximately 70 volunteers. The organisation’s activities are focused on enhancing women and girl’s lives, providing early intervention and support. We have a particular understanding, knowledge and experience of supporting women and girls who experience poor mental health.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counsellor to lead our counselling team. The Counselling and Wellbeing Manager plays a key role within the organisation. The successful applicant will manage a very busy counselling service that supports teenager girls and women. We currently have a team of 4 employed counsellors and approximately 40 volunteer counsellors (both qualified and trainees). You will predominately be based in our Litherland centre but you will be expected to travel to other centres (within Sefton) as necessary.
