The Background

Sefton Council and a Voluntary, Community and Faith sector working group led by Sefton CVS have worked together to produce a partnership agreement called New Realities. This agreement aims to establish an operational framework that strengthens working relationships between the local authority and the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector in the Borough, at both a strategic and operational level.

Sefton CVS ‘New Realities In Action’ Conference – October 2015

Sefton Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)  Annual Conference focused on New Realities: A ‘can-do’ collaborative agreement for Sefton Council and Sefton’s Voluntary, Community & faith (VCF) sector.  This agreement aims to establish an operational framework that strengthens working relationships between the local authority and the VCF sector in the Borough, at both a strategic and operational level. Click here for more information on New Realities.

The conference featured a number of workshops focusing on building successful partnerships and ‘can-do’ collaborative working , as well as a keynote speech from Dawn Austwick, CEO of Big Lottery Fund. Other speakers included Sefton CVS CEO Angela White and Councillor Trish Hardy, Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing.
