The Sefton Equal Voice (Black & Ethnic Minorities) network is a forum for BME people who live and work in Sefton to enable them to fully participate in consultation and decision making processes within Sefton which impact on their community.
Equal Voice is co-chaired by younger members of the BME community in Sefton Daryna Plysak and Brian Mok who are actively promoting the network through the Universities and social media.
Not only are the BME communities in Sefton represented at strategic level, Daryna and Brian ensure that hitherto younger persons concerns and aspirations are brought to the fore.
The network meets on a regular basis and receives presentations from partner agencies highlighting matters that may impact on the BME community in Sefton.
