Sefton Youth Council (SYC) is a network for any 13-19 (or 25 years old with additional needs) young person who cares about making a positive difference for others who live, study or work in Sefton.
There are two ways to get involved with SYC, via our online forum, and by attending events that we hold across Sefton.
We will have regular fantastic and fun open events in the community – run by volunteers and themed by what young people tell us matters to them. These events will provide an opportunity for young people to connect with decision makers in the borough and initiate positive change locally.
SYC is a virtual network. This means that discussions about the topics that matter to young people mainly take place online. For more information about how to sign up to and use the online forum take a look at the guide below.
Sefton Young Advisors as well as the Sefton CVS Children, Young People & Families team help run Sefton Youth Council along with young volunteers who care about this topic.
If you would like to know more about getting involved please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0151 920 0726.
