Nature and Environmental Volunteering Opportunities in Sefton
If you love being outside in amongst nature then why not donate your time to environmental volunteering?
As part of COP27 Volunteer Centre Sefton are sharing a selection of current nature and environmental volunteering opportunities from organisations across Sefton.
In Sefton, many organisations are looking for volunteers to support a variety of projects that are designed to help nature and the environment.
The climate crisis can seem like an insurmountable problem, but volunteering with an organisation whose aim is to improve the environment for both people and animals can be a way for you to make a positive contribution. Also, being in nature and being outdoors have been proven to help both mental and physical health.
The organisations with current volunteering opportunities include:
- RSPB – Southport
- Queenscourt Hospice
- Woodland Monitoring Group
- National Trust
- The Conservation Volunteers
