The Phoenix Way Cheshire & Merseyside Network: Research Survey
The Phoenix Way (TPW) is a racial justice movement that aims to address the structural and system barriers and inequalities which Black and racially minorised communities face in influencing and accessing funding in the UK. TPW will develop a pioneering model that can be replicated by others to ensure that communities facing poverty, exclusion and discrimination influence decisions that impact their lives.
The purpose of this survey is to identify the barriers and challenges faced by ethnic minority-led voluntary, community, faith organisations and social enterprises (VCFSE) operating in Cheshire and Merseyside in accessing funding. This work is funded by The Phoenix Way, led by the Ubele Initiative CIC and Global Fund for Children.
