Merseyside Charity Mentors: Business and Charities Skills Share

The CVS’s across Merseyside in Halton and St Helen’s, Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and Wirral are again working together with Professional Liverpool to promote business to charity mentorship. Through this programme, a VCFSE organisation or staff team member can be matched with a mentor from the professional and business community in the Liverpool City Region.

How it works

As a VCFSE organisation you may be looking to build skills and expertise in your team; gain new insights, look to innovate, make contacts and continue professional development and leadership potential.

OR

As an organisation, you are working on an existing idea, planning a new project or wanting to think creatively, or differently about a challenge or opportunity.

Through Professional Liverpool, we have expert mentors from leading businesses and institutions who are volunteering their time to be matched with VCFSE organisations brokered through the CVS in the boroughs of Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helen’s and Halton.

Merseyside Charity Mentors has previously matched two cohorts of people and organisations from the VCSE sector with professionals and businesses from the Liverpool City Region with excellent shared outcomes. We are now looking for 10 more organisations across Merseyside, who would be interested in a business mentoring opportunity. Some of the specific areas of mentoring support available are in marketing, financial planning, change management, business development and project management, though not exclusively.

How do I express an interest?

We are keen that applicants have a clear project idea, are prepared to commit time to work with a charity mentor as they are to you.

We are asking any VCSE organisation who is interested to complete the Expression of Interest Form here and return it to your local CVS via the contact details below;
