Sefton VCFSE Community Mental Health Transformation Funding

Sefton CVS in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Trust are seeking Expressions of Interests for Community Mental Health Transformation projects 2024-2025.

Community Mental Health Transformation Funding has been allocated by Mersey Care to support VCFSE activities in Sefton that will form part of a new Mental Health Navigation Service for people with Severe Mental Illness.

We are looking for expressions of interest for projects that will address

  • Loneliness and Isolation
  • Cost of Living Crisis Support
  • Support for Carers of people living with SMI

This funding is only open to Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprise organisations currently working in Sefton, although you may as part of a partnership bring in an external partner, the lead must already be delivering in Sefton.

Funding is for 12 months of service delivery, although there is an expectation that this will continue beyond that time.

Your project must be ready to mobilise into delivery within 3 months of notification of the award of the funds.

This funding is for support for people who have a diagnosis of Severe Mental Illness and are open to the Community Mental Health Team, it is not a general wellbeing fund for people with poor mental health.

Organisations can apply for between £10,000 and £40,000 of funding, to cover a 12 month period of activity.
