The primary purpose of the Every Child Matters (ECM) forum is to support and develop a strategic approach to the delivery of services for children, young people and families in Sefton.
Aims
The aims of the Every Child Matters Forum are to:
- Encourage VCF influence on partnership work to improve outcomes for children and young people
- Support and facilitate VCF involvement and participation in the development and delivery of services for children, young people and families
- Encourage the development of a co-ordinated strategic approach to services, embedding best practice and partnership working
The network meets quarterly, with a theme for each meeting, and include presentations, guest speakers, workshops and networking opportunities. Previous themes have been: Supporting Children with Additional Needs, Early Help, Safeguarding and Reporting Allegations.
The ECM plays a key role in the development and planning of services for children, young people and families in Sefton. It brings together partner agencies with an interest in this issue.
