Equal Voices in Action

A new name, a new series of inclusive community forums
Future of Sefton: Light, Hope & Action
Join us for the first in a new series of Equal Voices in Action community forums — open, creative spaces where local people come together to share experiences, listen to one another, and shape the future of Sefton.
Date: Thursday 13 November 2025
Time: 9:30am – 12noon
Venue: Crosby Library, Crosby Road North, Waterloo, L22 0LQ
The session plan:
- Welcome and Icebreaker: Tea and coffee on arrival — share one hope for Sefton’s future.
- Stories of Hope: Hear short reflections from residents — families and young people, elders, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ and migrant voices — on what belonging means to them.
- Vision Tree Activity: A creative group exercise examining the challenges, strengths, hopes and ideas for action.
- Mini Origami Workshop with Zulay Sayalero
- Community Priorities: Identify 5 key themes to carry forward into 2026.
- Next Steps: See how your voices will feed into Sefton Council’s equality and inclusion work and get invited to Forum 2 on Community Safety and Belonging.
Lunch will be provided after the forum to give people time to network and connect.
