February 2026 MRWA will be relaunching their Zero Waste Community Fund offering groups across the Liverpool City Region the opportunity to apply for funding to support projects that change behaviour and reduce waste of materials such as Food, Plastic, Textiles, Waste Electronics and Furniture.

Successful applicants can be awarded up to £8,000 for projects working within one district and up to £30,000 for projects working across four or more districts. With previous successful projects covering a range of activities including sewing workshops, community compost sites, repair cafes and more.
