About LYCC

Litherland Youth & Community Centre seek to advance the life and relieve the needs of individuals of all ages through the provision of recreational, educational and leisure time activities.

About the Vacancy

The Treasurer is responsible for producing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for the charity which has an annual turnover of around £300,000

Day to day accounts are maintained on Sage accounting and payroll and other services are outsourced.

A handover with the current treasurer will be arranged

LYCC are looking for…

  • Someone with a keen interest in youth and community services;
  • Experience of charity governance and board working;
  • Willingness to contribute to strategic direction;
  • Commitment to mission and values of LYCC

The following experience/skills would be beneficial:

  • Fundraising;
  • Legal requirements for charities;
  • Knowledge/experience of council or voluntary group;
  • Staff management;
  • Environmental or construction industries;
  • Marketing/Social Media;
  • Contract negotiation.
