Southport Recovery Youth Programme Small and Medium Grant Fund

Sefton CVS, in partnership with Sefton Council, are providing small and medium grant funding for Southport based VCF sector organisations and community groups that support the priorities of the Southport Recovery Programme.

The fund aims to support the delivery of new or additional youth activities for children and young people age 10 to 18 (or up to 25 with SEND) living in Southport with the following grants available;

  • Small grants available up to £1,000.
  • Medium grants available from £1,000 to £5,000.

Small Grants funded must meet one or more of the following:

The fund is designed to give one-off grants of up to £1,000 to community and voluntary organisations that will deliver activities which meet 1 or more of the following outcomes:

  • – Young people are connected through positive relationships
  • – Young people participate using their voice to enable change
  • – Young people are aware, build their health and wellbeing and promote inclusion
  • – Young people learn and improve their skills for themselves and others
  • – Young people are active citizens in their communities

Medium Grants funded must meet three or more of the following:

The fund is designed to give one-off grants of between £1,000-£5,000 to community and voluntary organisations that will deliver activities which meet 3 or more of the following outcomes:

  • – Young people are connected through positive relationships
  • – Young people participate using their voice to enable change
  • – Young people are aware, build their health and wellbeing and promote inclusion
  • – Young people learn and improve their skills for themselves and others
  • – Young people are active citizens in their communities

Individual applications can be made by organisations to each of the above grants.
Organisations and community groups must be delivering services directly to residents of Southport.
