Volunteer Researchers wanted for Heritage Project in Sefton
Sefton is full of brilliant stories, people and places. We need volunteers to help us to uncover memories of this heritage in Sefton. As a Volunteer Researcher you will help to research, plan and design an information banner for your local area as part of a team. This banner will then become part of a touring Historic Townships exhibition in the final months of 2022. This role is a great way to meet new people, develop and share your communication, organisation and research skills, and learn more about your local community.
You will be supported by Emma, Sefton CVS’s Heritage Development Officer, so you do not need any previous experience in heritage or research to apply. There will be five core sessions for Volunteer Researchers that will take place fortnightly from 1st March 2022 to 26th April with flexible volunteering opportunities in between based on your availability. We would also love to see our volunteers at the Historic Townships exhibition later in the year.
