UKSPF Digital Connectivity Grants Programme (Round 4) – Sefton Online Briefing Session, Tuesday 14th May, 1.30 – 2.45pm

VOLA is launching Round 4 of its UKSPF Digital Connectivity for Community Facilities Grants programme w/c 20 May.  Grants of up to £10k will be awarded to successful applicants in July 2024.

Watch this brief film to see if you think it could be for you.

Over the first three funding rounds, a total of £140k has been awarded to 22 Sefton-based VCFSE sector organisations, with up to £79k available for Sefton in this round.  One further ‘mop-up’ round will launch mid-September, but the intention is to commit as much of the remaining funding as possible in Round 4, so please don’t wait in case you miss out.

Prior to the launch of the application window, VOLA will be hosting online briefing sessions to inform local VCFSE sector organisations about the fund.

  1. The first, run in partnership with Sefton CVS, will take place on Zoom on Tuesday 14 May, 1.30 – 2.45pm.  The aim of this session is to inform potential applicants about the fund’s purpose, eligibility criteria and key requirements, the application process and what can/ cannot be funded.

(If you are unable to make this date, there are other sessions that you are welcome to attend – see VOLA’s website for details.)

  1. The second, on Tuesday 21 May, 1.00 – 2.15pm, will focus on technical considerations when developing-public access computer facilities, containing plenty of helpful hints and tips on what you need to do, key considerations, things you need to purchase, etc.

To register for either of these sessions, please email patrick.nicholls@volamerseyside.org.uk and he will send you the Zoom links.  If not obvious from your email address, please include your name and organisation.

If you are interested in applying for a grant, it is strongly recommended that you attend both sessions.  Each will take no more than 1 hour 15 minutes of your time, will greatly increase your chances of success, ensure that the facilities you set up are fit-for-purpose, and will ultimately help you to avoid lots of potential pitfalls, saving you time/money in the long-run!
