Time to be Out: LGBT+ Asylum Seekers and Persecution Workshop

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming Time to be Out, a charity that supports LGBT+ Asylum Seekers & Refugees.

They delivered an excellent session for staff, sharing stories of lived experience and discussions were around topics including; Who comes to the UK and why people need to escape; What are the specific challenges here in the UK and how we can help?

Time to be Out help LGBT+ Asylum Seekers and Refugees integrate into society and attempt to break down the isolation which many of them experience, particularly while their applications are being processed.
