Sefton CVS are seeking applicants to join us in an out of hours service for people looking for support having experienced, or are experiencing, a mental health crisis.

Our Sefton Crisis Cafes, located in sites in Southport and Crosby are recruiting for part-time and adhoc roles to join their existing team.

Southport Crisis Cafe: Crisis and Recovery Senior Support Worker

Job Title: Crisis and Recovery Senior Support Worker p/t
Salary: £15,353.52 – 21 hours per week (£25,589.20 pro rata)
Hours: Friday to Sunday – 5pm to 11pm (12-month FTC in the first instance)
Location: Southport
Responsible to: Crisis and Recovery Service Manager

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the café during operational hours and to and support clients outside these hours as needed. To deputise for the manager as required.

The purpose of the Crisis Café is to provide an alternative access point for people requiring out of hours support when experiencing negative symptoms of mental illness which may result in crisis if support is not received. The café should work as a safety net so that people do not have to access A and E with the focus being on reducing crisis occurring by early intervention techniques and adequate support provisions.

Job Title: Crisis and Recovery Support Worker
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Location: Crosby/Southport Crisis Café
Hours:
Adhoc
Responsible to: Crisis Café Manager

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the café (operational hours Friday to Sunday – 5pm to 11pm).

The purpose of the Crisis Café, is to provide an alternative access point for people requiring out of hours support when experiencing negative symptoms of mental illness, which may result in crisis if support is not received. The café should work as a safety net to reduce A&E visits, with the focus being on reducing crisis occurring, with early intervention and adequate support provisions.
