Sefton Social Value Toolkit

The Social Value Toolkit is a free tool designed for Sefton’s VCSFE sector to help measure and report on their community outcomes and social value, in line with the Principles of Social Value.

The tools aims to assist those organisations in maximising positive social, environmental and economic outcomes.

Community outcomes and value are linked to the priorities contained in the Sefton Partnership’s Place Plan and Central Governments own Social Value model and definition. ‘Improvements to the social, economic and environmental well-being of the relevant area.’

Eleven thematic outcomes areas have been identified that are important to Sefton, (developed through the Sefton Partnership Place Plan and Sefton’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy).

The toolkit can be used to;

  • Improve the demonstration of outcome and value for organisations that operate within Sefton.
  • Help understand the forecasted value of activities delivered throughout a defined period.
  • Track community outcomes and value.
  • Provide a dashboard and monitoring template for the outcomes and Value performance.
