If you are unemployed and passionate about sport, fitness and being outdoors, did you know that from March 2018, you could be on the road to a new career in those industries in just 16 weeks?

The Aspiring Instructors course is delivered by Active Sefton and boasts a success rate of 75% for participants finding work placements as a result of the course.

The programme includes practical work placements, nationally recognised qualifications and free coaching.

Sefton’s Free 16 week training programme “Aspiring Instructors”

Do you want to work in the Sport and Fitness or Outdoor Activities Industry?

Aspiring Instructors is a 16 week training programme that has been developed for those wanting to work in the sport, fitness or outdoor activity industries. The programme includes a practical work placement with a local employer, nationally recognised qualifications and free mentoring, support and advice to help you move into a new career.

Eligibility criteria:
· Must be a resident of Sefton
· Subject to a satisfactory DBS check
· Some work programme clients may not be eligible

(Please note that applicants who are on the DWP Work Programme will need to have clearance from their provider before commencing the course).
