Merseyside Offender Mentoring Project Coordinator receives national commendation from Princess Royal

Adam Connolly, Merseyside Offender Mentoring Project Co-ordinator is celebrating being presented with a prestigious Butler Trust commendation by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal at St James’s Palace in London, on 21st March.

Adam Connolly received the commendation from the Butler Trust, which has The Princess Royal as its patron; his commendation was one of just 20 granted from over 400 nominations across Britain.

The Merseyside Offender Mentoring Project, managed by Sefton Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), provides mentoring and befriending support to offenders from HMP Liverpool, HMP Kirkham and HMP Risley before and after release, with the aim of helping them to resettle positively back into the community.
