Safeguarding agencies across Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral are working together to ensure that adults are able to live in safety and free from abuse and neglect.

From April 2017 the existing Safeguarding Adults Boards in these areas have formed the Merseyside Safeguarding Adults Board to work together to achieve more effective and personalised safeguarding. The new combined board has been running for twelve months and has built on the work of the previous Safeguarding Adults Boards and the valued contributions of partner agencies.
