Alchemy Crosby needs your vote for a chance to bag £4000!

Alchemy Crosby, Youth & Community Centre is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative!

This cash award will allow Alchemy to bring the whole community together to celebrate 50 years as a youth centre. The centre now host’s a number of different community groups. This has lead to the renaming of Crosby Youth Centre to ‘Alchemy Crosby, Youth and Community Centre’. We will not only be celebrating the last 50 years but also looking ahead to the future as a Youth and Community Centre. The celebration events will take place in 2018

Voting is open in all Tesco stores throughout September and October. Customers will cast their vote using a token given to them at the check-out in store each time they shop.

The following stores will be taking part in the project:

  • CROSBY RD LPOOL EXP, Express, L22 4QH
  • THORNTON EXP,  Express, L23 4TE

SAFE and the Green Dream Project need your vote!

The Green Dream Solar Scheme have been shortlisted for the M&S Energy + renewable energy campaign and Voting is now open.

They aim to transform neighbourhoods by bringing an empty pub- back to life, creating a canal side community eatery/hotel/business hub.

This “community” hub will act as a venue for creative & cultural activity, promoting healthier communities, a place to live, work, create!

The Solar panels will enable them to reduce emissions which will help the environment and conserve energy. It will also help reduce energy bills, with the money saved invested into local community projects.

Sefton Women’s & Children’s Aid (SWACA) have been selected to receive a MCF Community Award which offer the chance for local community charities that help people in need to receive a share of £3 million generously donated by Freemasons and their families.

To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the United Grand Lodge of England, Freemasons have selected 300 local charities across England and Wales to receive a MCF Community Award.

Every charity that has been chosen will receive a Community Award of between £4,000 and £25,000. Your vote will determine how much we give to each charity.

The more votes SWACA receive the larger the sum and greater the impact the donation can have! Voting is really simple, just head over to – Click here!
