The role aims to promote self-advocacy and empowerment to enable clients to understand the choices open to them at every stage of the complaints process, make informed decisions and get their views heard.

Sefton CVS and Mersey Care are currently delivering a project to support people with serious mental illness, who regularly use Community Mental Health Services.

The role will focus on the co-ordination of the VCF sector voice through networks and in building cross sector partnerships to support the VCF sector’s role in local integrated care systems and the wider health system in relation to adults.

The role will provide overall day to day management of a friendly, inclusive and accessible community health and wellbeing information shop delivered from Strand by Me.

The Sessional Worker will support the delivery of social activities for young people with additional needs and disabilities in accordance with the policies of Sefton CVS and at the request of the Buddy Up Coordinator.
