Living Well Mentor (Brighter Living Partnership)
Job Title: Living Well Mentor
Salary: £20,138 per annum
Location: Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road, Southport
Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time)
Term: Fixed term until March 2022
Accountable to: Brighter Living Partnership Co-ordinator
Brighter Living Partnership (BLP) which is part of Living Well Sefton, Sefton’s integrated wellness service, is looking for a new Living Well Mentor to join the team in Southport.
We are a community based health and wellbeing charity, working to support people to improve their physical and mental health, through a range of activities and support. This includes one to one support for people wanting to make health behaviour change.
We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, with a range of groups and individuals together with the ability to build good working relationships with people from a wide range of social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. You must also be a good team player and be able to plan and organise your workload.
The role is based at Southport Community Centre, within a dedicated team of mentors who run a range of social inclusion groups and health improvement activities.
The post is initially funded for three years.

Administration Officer (Include-IT Mersey Project)
Location: Burlington House, Waterloo, Merseyside
Hours: 35 hours per week
Sefton CVS is looking to appoint an experienced Administration Officer to work for its Include-IT Mersey project (co-ordinated by VOLA). This is a project that provides basic digital skills training and employment support to digitally excluded people who are out of work across the Liverpool City Region. The project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery.
The post will provide support to the Finance and Monitoring team in maintaining project monitoring systems. The role will include maintaining learning tracking records as well as undertaking a range of administrative support tasks.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in maintaining databases and other records and able to work to tight timescales and deadlines. You should also be a team player, have strong organisational skills, be ICT literate and be able to communicate effectively with our partner organisations.
