The next Sefton Faith Forum is on Tuesday 20 October 1pm-4pm at The Gateway Collective, 99 Stanley Road, Bootle, L20 7DA
Proposed Agenda includes:
- Welcome and introductions – Maggi Aslet – Pete Spiers
- Warm vegetarian lunch – Provided by the Gateway Collective – all
- Chris Treble and Eirlys Jessop- St John’s Ainsdale – Our Eco story: Caring for Creation and running green projects. What’s working well for a small team in a Faiths setting.
- Zahra Ross – Faiths for Change – Introduction to the work Faiths for Change are doing in Sefton and how they can work with you. Examples of good practice from across the City Region, and what support there is for partnership work.
- Christine Leung- Lotus Brook and Ali Horton at the Gateway Collective – Examples of garden projects, top tips and how to get involved with current community projects in Sefton. Focus on work in South Sefton.
- John Dempsey Green Sefton – Key considerations for environmental projects, how you can add value, and how you can get advice and support from Sefton Council.
- Kevin Finney – National Lottery Community Fund – opportunities for funding for environmental projects through lottery funders.
- Maggi and Pete – Next Steps for Sefton Faiths Forum – discussion on the next steps for the forum, what’s going well with the forum and how we can improve it moving forward.
